Drivelodge
|
Let us introduce ourselves, we are David and Joanne Waring, who started this business in 1991 after many years of bulding motorhomes as a hobby for our own holidays. We have two boys James and Joseph who are often here at weekends alongwith our family dog, Amber, who keeps the sales reps at bay!
We now offer a range of designs on panel vans but are probably better know for our bespoke motorhomes. We have built many unusual vehicles including motorhomes with adaptions for disability.
Our individual motorhomes are built by David and a very small team of craftsmen. Our quality and workmanship is designed to stand the test of time.
David believes that nothing is impossible, sometimes it is impractical, but never impossible.
We try to treat all our customers as individuals as like how we would like to be treated ourselves, without any pressures.
You can contact us for a chat, we understand that everyone has questions to ask. We will not try to sell you anything and information is free, we try our best for everyone. |

Quality
is not just a notion for Eura Mobil. Customer satifaction surveys have shown that Eura Mobil has obtained the best results among the leading manufacturers for years. Our enthusiasm and our 40-year experience in motorhome construction are core elements of every Eura Mobil. The best technical processes and materials guarantee you the best finished product.
Reliable
A combination of intelligent construction and the use of the best materials mean that your motorhome will travel on and on... Not to mention the hard-wearing furniture. No half-measures for the top berth, either: with Eura Mobil?s patent system combining joint, linkage and function, we have set a new standard for profiles.
Functional
All the equipment is, of course, practical and ready to respond to any challenge. Each part of your Eura Mobil has been approved, most of them for many years: the double floor is standard equipment in the whole range and is doubly useful: it makes a great storage space and stops you freezing in winter. For more independence, we designed it with large water and power capacity. For greater individuality, you have the choice of over 20 floor-plans.

Imperial
|
To encourage domestic sales most automobile models undergo a complete model change every few years, with slight front and grill changes every one or two. Generally, the condition of Japanese cars is far better than that of our European counterparts due to the driving environment, thus avoiding corrosion problems. Take a look at any of our imported vehicles engine compartments, and what you see speaks for itself. They are amazing!
Japanese imports have a higher specification than their European equivalents, for example air conditioning and power steering are standard on all cars. Indeed, the Japanese expect as standard many of the options that we have to pay extra for when buying European cars.
Japanese car companies actively encourage customers to retun their old cars in part-exchange.
Another reason for the superior condition of Japanese imported vehicles is the mandatory 'Shaken' (warranty of fitness) test that all Japanese cars must undergo. This test is far more detailed than any European inspection. The Shaken that comes with a new car in Japan is valid for three years, but must be renewed on a biannual basis. This rule is strictly enforced and the massive cost of renewing the Shaken, compared to low new car prices is a huge incentive to Japanese drivers to trade their cars in.
Consumers in Japan are required to provide proof of parking space for every vehicle when registering new and used cars. This is compulsory and scrupulously controlled to the extent that in most areas police with physically measure the parking space to ensure it is approprately sized for the intended vehicle.
It is this steep depreciation which makes used cars in Japan economical enough to be viable for export throughout the world of right hand drive countries.

Laika
|
Tel. - Fax 055 8058500
At LAiKA we are convinced that the quality of a vehicle starts in the designing phase and this is why we stubbornly and determinately dedicate a great amount of time to this aspect of our work. The creativity and professionality of our engineers and architects have made it possible to develop the most original solutions and to be ahead of our times with radical technological innovations. Our passion for technical progress spurs us to constantly invest in research and development; this has brought us to the creation of the Ecovip and the Kreos series, vehicles featuring a highly sophisticated design where each part is studied in every detail.
Our customers are very exacting and always demand the best. We know this, and it is why our control system is very advanced and comprises several steps. Before starting production we subject prototypes to numerous tests: waterproofness, roadability and seat belt reliability. We also test each and every raw material: resistance of materials to mechanical stress, resistance to atmospheric agents, fastness of colours. We start production only when everything meets our high quality standards. Finally, strict control procedures are constantly adopted throughout the production process and in the pre-consignment stage. We are just as exacting as our customers.
In order to guarantee high quality standards of the product, LAIKA manufactures most components in its own plants, including furniture. This is why LAIKA has set up ultramodern production departments assisted by computer networks and totally automated with numerical control machines. The quality of a vehicle can be recognized through the details. It is chiefly during the assembly stage that the care for details is enhanced, also thanks to the scrupulous work and the specific expertise of all operators.

Machzone
|
8th February 1987: Machzone as a company is formed, by Glenn Butler, Managing Director of Glenns LV, Bullwell, Nottingham. As existing British manufacturers could not supply motorhomes to Glenn's ( and his customers ) tastes, the decision is made to start manufacturing a specialist brand to cater for those needs. The company is set up in Hull, with Gavin Coverdale as the General Manager, and on the 16th March 1987, the first van leaves the factory. To the best of our knowledge that vehicle is still owned by the first customer.
Since then Machzone has built a strong reputation, not so much through advertising, but by word of mouth, surely the most honest way of promoting a company. Rarely does a Machzone vehicle leave the factory in 'standard' form, so a relationship often develops between the customer and the staff at the factory, as that person sees their ideal motorhome being built for them, stage by stage. The customer then becomes the best sort of advert for Machzone, as when asked about their vehicle, they will give an honest account of the levels of service and workmanship they have encountered with the company. Our goal with every customer is for their vehicle to exceed their expectations.
This philosophy is carried over to the other side of our business - that of producing coachbuilt vehicles for a variety of purposes. Although the majority of the vehicles produced by Machzone are motorhomes, often these have been adjusted to suit that particular customers requirements, perhaps in terms of assisting those with disabilities, or incorporating layout and equipment changes. Several motorhomes have been equipped for a dual role - for rest and recreation with all home comforts, and as a mobile part of a business, where modern communications and information technology can create an office away from the business itself. This has allowed owners to, during part retirement, or whilst handing over a business, remain connected to the day to day running whilst at the same time starting each day in more exotic locations. This also proved a unique way of catering clients when visiting.
Our proven mobile office format (See example) is our most popular special purpose vehicle, however the size of our company (Around forty vehicles a year) allows us to be extremely flexible and produce one off designs, whilst at the same time we can offer experienced craftsmen and a wealth of knowledge, coupled with proven techniques.

Pilote
|
The PILOTE motorhomes are produced for European owners. From Stockholm to Seville, the PILOTE concept is appreciated for its qualities of robustness, longevity and design.
Introduced with the 99 range, the DAP technology process is the construction label from PILOTE. Through these 3 letters, this label represents the choices made by a manufacturer of motor-homes for 40 years.
D is for design the inside of a motorhome is just as relevant as the outside. That is why the angles have to be carefully considered, rounded when necessary. Shape is important to express the identity of an ATLANTIS, a PACIFIC or a GALAXY.
A is for Aluminium. PILOTE has chosen to integrate in its production, this material used in the automobile industry. The external walls are in polished aluminium, which guarantees a good finish, long-life and ease of repair. Aluminium is also used in the interior in order to fix the furniture to the walls, so that no wooden battens are used at all, and that allows a better control of the thermal qualities.
P is for Polyester . it is quite normal for a brand like PILOTE to make use of this product when we know that PILOTE produced its first Integral in 1988. The polyester is worked with in-house and used for the PACIFIC and GALAXY models, and for the 3 ranges concerning the manufacturing of the roof.
D.A.P. : 3 letters behind which PILOTE uses their know-how, and passes this on to their customers.

A few days before going on holiday, Mr Constant ROUSSEAU built an extendable trailer for his personal use that had a hard roof to which he attached a canvas structure. This first folding caravan was such a success on the camp sites that he took away several orders.
The "RAPIDO" brand was born.
Another Big Year for RAPIDO, 1992. After 2 years of research and fine-tuning, RAPIDO joined the big league with its new range of products: the 9 Series A-Class Motor Homes. This range included the RANDONNEUR 910, 920 and 930. A new model with overhead cab was also created: the RANDONNEUR 820, and the CLUB 32T was added to the CLUB range.
RAPIDO became the Low-slung Motor Home market leader for the first time. |

Reimo

Motor Caravan Conversions has always been a family business. Ken Taylor has been involved in motor engineering for over 40 years and with the expansion of the leisure industries during the 1980's he saw an opportunity for a new venture into motor caravan manufacturing.
The kernel of this idea came to fruition when his son Andrew and daughter Julie joined him and Motor Caravan Conversions Ltd was born. In those days, different makes of vehicles were converted but the popularity of the Volkswagen T3 and T4 as a motorcaravan soon took the lead and the company's association with that famous marque was forged.
Continental Influence. With Ken and Andrew's engineering skills, allied to Julie's sales flair, the family were soon looking for new challenges. Fact finding trips to the Continent had encouraged them to introduce more original vehicles into the UK leisure market, with improved safety standards too. They also listened to their customers, many of whom had clear ideas. They wanted conversions that were not just one standard fixed layout. They wanted versatility, the ability to have a holiday or weekend motorcaravan that could also adapt to being the family's workhorse for school runs, supermarket shopping or even stripped out to serve as a goods transporter.
Joining the Big Names. Motor Caravan Conversions found the answer to this versatility in Germany, with Reimo, and an investment was made that has enabled the company to expand along with their German partners. They also needed to develop an association with another partner, one who could bring the same standards of vehicle excellence to combine with versatile conversions. In 1991, the opportunity was realised when the Volkswagen T4 transporter was launched. MCC were the first company to exhibit Reimo's T4 conversion at the NEC exhibition. Full design compatibility approval was awarded after that. |

Rimor
|
Looking back at the first vehicles that left our factories witnesses how far we have gone since then, constantly at the side of the thousands of people who have spent their holidays in our Autocaravans. Looking forwards, towards the new factory, inaugurated in July 2000, shows how far we can and still want to go, in creating vehicles ever more in keeping with the times, increasingly suited to the requirements of people who choose to holiday ?on wheels ?.Established in 1978 by Luano Niccolai, Rimor is now one of the leading European companies in the field of the Autocaravan. Since the date of establishment until now, many things have changed in our customers? holidays: the way of understanding leisure time, requirements, times and expectations have changed. Rimor has been capable of changing with them, year after year, following and often anticipating the evolution of taste and needs. An increasingly higher number of vehicles produced has been joined by a growth in quality of the campers. This quality has also been acknowledged by the recent ISO 9001 certification; a very important target when considering that our company has always worked without the aid of foreign capital or business mergers. In addition to rewarding the production efforts of the Tuscany firm, ISO 9001 certification has further confirmed Rimor?s capability to make products perfectly in keeping with the best international standards, and consolidated our ranking at the side of the major European manufacturers. |

Unique
|
Are you looking for a Motor Home that fits YOU
Do you want a Motor Home that fits on any driveway
Do you want to travel to places like Cornwall but don't want to take 2 Vehicles to see it all
LOOK NO FURTHER!
This was why we started Unique Motor Homes, from a need for a Motor Home that suited our needs. We scoured the market for a Motorhome that suited us. We needed a High Top vehicle, as we do not have a huge drive, we wanted to use it daily, and most importantly we wanted to tour the tranquil parts of the UK.
We felt standard coachbuilts were much too big to satisfy any of these requirements
Standard High Top conversions did not have the right compromise in fixture and fittings, many having too small beds, a compromise often made by trying to provide a large shower room.
So we were left with the only option and that was to build one ourselves. We then found many others a little dissatisfied with the standard offering which led us to start UNIQUE Motor Homes. We believe that your Motor Home is an important and personal investment. You do not buy a house with standard furniture fixture and fittings so why by a Motor Home in the same way. We can build a Motor Home to suit YOU. Call or drop us a line to see what we can do for YOU.
At Unique Motor Homes we specialise in building Motor Homes around you requirements on MWB and LWB Vehicles that can go where normal cars can go.

Wellhouse
|
Who We Are
Wellhouse Leisure might be a new name but we were the founder members of Deepcar Motorhomes International which we sold to our former German business partner in December 2002. Why? Because at DMI we only dealt in Hymer and Westfalia campers which was quite restrictive. Our former partners didn't want to deal in any other makes.
Why Japanese?
We have known for a long time that there was a lack of small every day easy-to-use camper vans in the UK. Also, trying to find an older automatic camper without spending a small fortune is virtually impossible. In Japan, vehicles tend to have higher specifications, with things like air-conditioning and power steering that you only find on prestige vehicles, let alone camper-vans.
